What are the dangers of MDPV? (NOTE:  IF YOU BELIEVE YOU OR A FRIEND IS SUFFERING FROM AN MDPV OVERDOSE, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICE)

Side effects of Bath Salts Drug Can Include Suicidal Thoughts

MDPV Dangers have not been fully documented, since this drug, which is sold under the guise of "bath salts" or "plant food" is also a stimulant that can have differene effects on different people, especially considering that they may also be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics at the same time.

Reported side efffects for MDPV and other bath salts drugs are said to include hallucinations, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, paranoia, anxiety, and agitation. In some cases people have committed suicide while under the influence of this drug, which can be bought at convenience stores and head shops around the country by just about anyone. Even though the items are labeled as "not for human consumption" the ingredients are obviously used by people as a synthetic cocaine or methamphetamine, and the results on an individual are anyone's guess. Additional side effects can include dependence, depression, and severe mood swings. People have slashed themselves while on this drug, so it may not be the good time they have been looking for.

Notes and Special Information

Special note: The dangers of MDPV are also evident in the emergency room, where doctors may not know enough to diagnose which drug was taken, so a person may suffer for some time before the correct diagnosis and MDPV overdose treatment can be found.
